The 25th Hour by David Benioff

The 25th Hour by David Benioff. What would you do if you only had 24 hours of freedom before serving a seven year sentence in prison? So is the story of Monty Brogan and 27 year old drug dealer convicted of drug dealing. A large payload was found in his apartment in is couch cushion. This exciting novel chronicles the final 24 hours of Monty's freedom as he spends it with his friends and contemplates his prison-bound existence. A nice book that takes place in New York City. It is a short read that is ideal for the long plane flight or weekend read. A feature film of the same title by Spike Lee was inspired by the novel.
